While the first operationnal photo of the Assault Rifle In-Line Low Light Sight (ARILLS) came out to the public on 2023, it is now clear that UKSF has been using it for longer than this.

The first one atop an L119A2 was shared by Jay_cal87 on Instagram. The ARILLS is mounted on a Unity Riser to match the height of the Aimpoint T2 & G33 magnifier, itselves on Unity 1.93″ mounts.
The rifle is also sporting a Rheinmetall LM-VAMPIR laser aiming device and an Infore WMLX weapon light.

The SAS weren’t the only ones tinkering with the new thermal sight. The device also looks to have seen some use on SFSG L2A1s. While the first one only partially shows the rifle, leaving to guess the latter’s lengh, the second one is clearly attached to a 16″ L2A1.
