Cosine indicators aren’t cheap. Unfortunately for me and my need for a L115A3 clone that could pass any squint test, it’s an accessory I couldn’t pass on. Eager to finish the whole project (at the time), I managed to build my own on the cheaper side.
I managed to quite cheaply snatch the issued mount out of ebay. These pop up from time to time, but are otherwise easy to source through most shooting retailer. You’d be looking for a Badger Ordnance 2nd generation rail mount. Then I got a cheap angle indicator that came attached to a Vector Optics scope mount and disassembled it.

Once painted and attached to the receiver it looks the part. The only downside was it being an angle indicator rather than cosine like the issued item.
