The Way of The knife<\/td>Mark Mazzetti<\/td>How the CIA had to evolve from the dawn of global terrorism to the global war on terror.<\/td>Very interesting, including a lot of compelling anecdotes.<\/td><\/tr>
The Only Thing Dying For<\/td>Eric Blehm<\/td>The story of the green berets tasked with infiltrating Hamid Karza\u00ef at the beginning of the war in Afghanistan.<\/td>A lesser known bit of history that also serves as a testimony to the difficulty of conducting joint operations.<\/td><\/tr>
Rougneck Nine-One<\/td>Sgt 1st class Frank Antenori and Hans Halberstadt<\/td>How ODA-391 managed to win over an entire iraki armored battalion.<\/td>A very action packed read highlighting how troop quality can be the winning factor in battle. Interesting as it marks some of the early Javelin use.<\/td><\/tr>
The British Sniper : A century of evolution<\/strong><\/mark><\/a><\/td>Steve Houghton<\/td>A chronological study of all the sniper rifles issued by the British Army during the past century.<\/td>Amazingly detail oriented and includes a boatload of superb photos.<\/td><\/tr>
The Green Meanie : L96A1<\/strong><\/mark><\/a><\/td>Steve Houghton<\/td>Traces the life of the L96A1 from its inception to its fielding.<\/td>Just like its big brother “The British Sniper” it packs a tons of full color illustrations. And on top of that, recounts the journey behind the rifle that sparked its own revolution.<\/td><\/tr>
